Aml & Kyc Policy

Purpose and Scope

This AML and KYC policy sets forth Dada8s controls to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism in relation to all online gambling services provided by the Company. It applies to all customers, employees, agents and any other persons acting on behalf of Dada8, and governs identity verification, transaction monitoring, and risk-based screening compatible with applicable law.

Regulatory Framework and Definitions

AML means measures to detect and prevent the conversion of illicit funds; KYC means customer identification and verification; CFT means actions to prevent the financing of terrorism. Dada8 operates in jurisdictions that require identification, record keeping, and reporting of suspicious activity. This policy is designed to satisfy applicable statutes, guidance, and supervisory expectations and to reflect a risk based approach to compliance.

Onboarding and Verification

Identity Verification

On registration, customers must provide information and complete verification prior to any real-money play or deposits. Required documents include a government issued photo identity document and evidence of current address. Verification will be completed within 48 hours after all required documents are submitted in a legible and complete form. If additional documents are needed, customers will be advised within the same 48 hour window.

Documentation may include:

  • Government issued photo ID (eg passport, national ID card, or driver’s license)
  • Proof of address dated within the last three months (eg utility bill, bank statement)
  • Proof of payment method used to fund the account

Age, Residency and Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and reside in a jurisdiction where Dada8 services are legally available. If age or residency evidence is inconclusive or verification fails, access to services may be restricted or the account closed in accordance with applicable law.

Source of Funds and Payment Verification

Customers must establish a lawful source of funds for deposits. Acceptable documentation includes recent salary payment evidence, bank statements showing consistent funds, or other verifiable documents establishing a legitimate source of funds. The payment method used for deposits must be verifiable to match the account name and ownership details.

Risk-Based Approach and Customer Due Diligence

Dada8 employs a risk based framework to determine the level of due diligence required. Onboarding includes initial due diligence to establish identity and risk profile, while ongoing due diligence is performed at regular intervals and when triggered by activities or changes in risk. Higher risk customers or transactions may require enhanced due diligence including additional identity checks and documentation of the purpose and expected activity of the relationship.

Ongoing Monitoring

All customer activity is monitored for suspicious or inconsistent patterns. Transactions that exceed predefined thresholds or involve high risk geographies trigger further verification and potential temporary holds or access restrictions.

Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and High Risk Indicators

The Company applies enhanced screening for politically exposed persons and for entities identified on sanctions lists or identified as having higher risk profiles. Where a PEP or high risk indicator is identified, enhanced due diligence is performed and compliance notified for appropriate action including potential account restrictions or termination of the business relationship.

Data Handling, Privacy and Record Keeping

Dada8 maintains records of all KYC documentation, verification decisions, risk assessments, and relevant transaction information in secure systems. Access to sensitive personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and maintained in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Records are retained for the period required by law and regulatory guidance.

Governance, Training and Compliance

All staff receive AML and KYC training appropriate to their roles. A designated Compliance Officer is accountable for policy enforcement, exception approvals, and engagement with authorities as required by law and internal procedures. The policy and related procedures are reviewed regularly to reflect regulatory changes and evolving risk.

Suspension, Restriction and Termination

If identity or source of funds cannot be verified, or if information indicates a potential violation of law or policy, Dada8 may suspend account activity or restrict services pending resolution. If verification cannot be completed or if identity cannot be established, the Company reserves the right to terminate the customer relationship and return funds to the original payment source in accordance with applicable law. In certain cases where risk necessitates it, large payouts may be disbursed in installments to mitigate financial crime risk.

Customer Rights, Disclosures and Appeals

Customers have rights to access and correct their personal data in accordance with applicable law. Decisions regarding KYC verifications, suspensions, or terminations may be appealed by contacting Dada8 compliance. All such requests will be handled promptly and in accordance with internal procedures and legal requirements.
